Where does the festival take place?

Curious Comedy Theater has two venues in the same building at 5225 NE MLK Blvd, Portland, OR. The Main Stage is a cabaret style 170 seat venue, has a large stage, projectors, screens, full bar and food. The Annex stage is an intimate 70 seat white box theater with a 3/4 thrust stage, and concessions including beer, wine, and snacks. Each theater features a professional, state-of-the-art 4K multi-camera TV studio installed for live-streaming and/or capturing highest quality video of shows. Some shows may be scheduled at other venues as well.

Are the shows all ages?

Yes! Shows at Curious Comedy are all ages - though they are not guaranteed to be family friendly. Shows at other venues are typically also all ages, but may be 21+. Check the schedule to confirm.

Are the shows ADA accessible?

Yes! Shows at Curious Comedy are ADA accessible. We have wide doors, flex seating, and 4 ADA accessible restrooms. Shows at other venues are typically also ADA accessible, but check the schedule once it’s complete to confirm.

What does BIPOC mean?

BIPOC is an abbreviation for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Chroma’s mission is to amplify voices of under-represented BIPOC performers. We book and accept applications from artists who self-identify as BIPOC.
